  Scholarship Programs for Students

Scholarships are programs that provide financial aid to students. The biggest advantage of getting a scholarship is that you do not need to repay the amount of the scholarship.

The criteria for giving scholarships are not just merit, but the need for financial aid. Scholarships are not just restricted to academics, even fields like Music, arts, athletics and other disciplines offer scholarships.

Government, colleges, and various private and outside organizations offer scholarship programs. For example, if you are an athlete there must be some colleges that would be willing to offer you scholarships. The Universities of Minnesota, Alabama, Missouri, and of other states provide scholarships according to the merit score. The ACT/ SAT scholarship is given according to the test scores of a candidate.
